Greetings All:
I am sending you this note to remind you of our upcoming 2024 Founders Day Celebration, which will be held this year on both Saturday, April 6, and Sunday, April 7.
I hope you will join us as we celebrate the 155th anniversary of the founding of our Great Church and the efforts of our fore-parents and all those over the years who have helped to get us this far along as a Church.
Since the onset of COVID, we had not conducted the Saturday event. However, we are blessed to be able to return to it this year.
On Saturday, April 6th, we will begin our celebration at 12 noon by continuing to connect our mission as a Church with the Lordship of Christ and the Discipline of the Holy Spirit. We will do so in a spirit of worship in the Sanctuary, led by some of our Pastors.
On Sunday, April 7th, we will begin at 10 a.m. with Sunday School classes for all ages, hosted by the Sunday School Convention, and then we will begin our traditional Worship service, focusing on our Covenant with the Lord and His people, concluding with Holy Communion and fellowship.
We look forward to all our congregations joining in with us for this sacred assembly, for our God has truly kept His promises to us.
Please plan to come and celebrate and share in this spiritual, festive time of fellowship.
