As we step into the month of September, I invite you to embrace this time of transition with renewed faith and purpose. Reflect on our Annual Conference and include those reflections, along with our Churches and congregations, in your daily prayers.
September is a period of change. The warmth of summer gives way to the crisp beginnings of autumn. Let this be a metaphor for our spiritual journey: a time to shed old habits and embrace new growth.
As we embrace the month of September, let us focus on deepening our relationship with God and with one another. Reflect on the blessings and challenges of the past year. Seek guidance for the path ahead. Remember that every change that we face is an opportunity to strengthen our faith and to grow in our understanding of God’s will.
I encourage you to engage in acts of service and kindness within our community. By reaching out to those in need and supporting one another, we embody the love and compassion of Christ.
Let us also be mindful of our personal prayer and study time. Dedicate moments each day to connect with God through prayer and reflection on His Word. In doing so, we equip ourselves to face the challenges and joys that September brings.
